A cookie policy should not need a law degree to read, so here is a plain one. This page covers exactly what gets stored on your device when you use this site or play Tower Of Kings, and why.

Cookies on the main site. We run Google Analytics (tag G-CHE1WJ43FR) so we can see which articles people actually read and where interest drops off. That sets a small number of standard analytics cookies, the kind almost every website uses, which track anonymised visits rather than who you are personally. We do not run advertising cookies, we do not run retargeting pixels, and we do not sell any of this data. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings at any time and the site keeps working exactly the same.

The game stores something different. Tower Of Kings, our browser game, does not use cookies at all. It uses your browser's local storage instead, which is a separate mechanism that never leaves your device and is never sent to us or to anyone else. It stores four small things: your unlocked progress, your saved scores, the name you played under, and the state of a run in progress. None of it is transmitted over the network. If you clear your browser data, that progress resets, which is the only real consequence.

Third parties. Some links on this site point to The Real World and are affiliate links. Once you click through, you are on their platform under their own cookie and privacy rules, not ours. We do not control what happens after that click.

Your control. Every modern browser lets you view, block or delete cookies and local storage from its own settings, no special tool needed from us. Doing so may sign you out of preferences or reset game progress, but it will never break the site or lock you out of anything.
