If you are hunting for an alternative to The Real World, start by being honest about what you are actually hunting for.

If you do not know what you want yet, that breadth is worth more than depth. It is also not for everyone. If you want passive money, guaranteed returns, or you are under 18, it is not your answer.
So the real comparison is not between platforms. It is between the version of you who picks something this week and works at it, and the version who spends another three months comparing options. Which one are you going to be?
